PETALING JAYA: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd
has appointed former transport minister Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy (pic) as its chairman, with effect from April 1.
In a filing with the local stock exchange on Tuesday, the construction and property outfit said Chan, 66, will replace Datuk Low Keng Kok who had resigned to pursue personal interests.
Fajarbaru said Chan was the independent non-executive director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee in Nirvana Asia Ltd, a company listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange, from 2014 to 2016.
