KUALA LUMPUR: The local bourse ended Tuesday on a weak note, bucking the uptrend among regional peers, as index-linked glove makers dragged.
At closing, the FBM KLCI fell 2.09 points, or 0.13% to 1,609.19. The index opened 5.13 points lower at 1,606.15 this morning.
In the broader market, losers outpaced gainers 649 to 414, while 441 counters were unchanged. Volume stood at 5.78 billion units valued at RM3.59mil.
Dealers said market sentiment remained cautious due to the absence of fresh catalysts amid lower oil.
