KUALA LUMPUR: WCE Holdings Bhd
's construction arm KEB Builders Sdn Bhd (KEBSB) has been awarded works for the construction of Section 7B of the West Cost Expressway project worth RM301 million.
KEBSB has accepted a Letter of Award by IJM Construction Sdn Bhd-Kumpulan Europlus Bhd Joint Venture, the engineering, procurement and construction contractor (EPC Contractor) of the project.
With this, all the construction packages for the entire alignment of the West Cost Expressway project have been fully awarded, WCE said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
"As per the concession agreement signed with the government dated Jan 2, 2013 and the supplemental agreement dated Dec 11, 2014, the procurement method for Section 7 is to be carried out by way of an open tender.
