KUALA LUMPUR: Tricor Investing & Issuing House Services Sdn Bhd has apologised for the technical issue that resulted in the the postponement of Malayan Banking Bhd's virtual annual general meeting.
The service provider of the remote participation and voting facility said it has identified the root cause of the downtime, which has since been rectified.
"The inconvenience to our clients and business partners is deeply regretted and all steps are being taken to ensure that all our forthcoming virtual AGM’s proceed smoothly.
"Tricor Malaysia will continue to forge ahead as well as develop our capacity and capability to spearhead the digital transformation of Corporate Malaysia," it said in a statement.
Maybank earlier announced that it had rescheduled its 61st annual general meeting, which was planned for today, due to the technical issue.
It said the notice of the new meeting date will be announced to Bursa Malaysia in due course and will also be made available on www.maybank.com.
