KUALA LUMPUR: Pertama Digital Bhd
has increased the transfer limit for digital payment of court bails via its eJamin application to RM500,000.
In a statement, the digital solution’s operator said online bank transfers by individuals for court bails were capped at RM30,000 for each transaction in accordance with the Standard B2C Financial Process Exchange (FPX) limit of Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet).
Pertama Digital executive director Sabri Ab Rahman (PIC) said: “We are extremely grateful for the active role of the Malaysian Judiciary on this initiative, as well as for the assistance of PayNet and participating banks.”
