KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Edgenta Bhd
has strongly denied accusations of improper work planning, resources allocation as well as other misleading claims against its subsidiary Edgenta Propel Bhd.
In its exchange filing, the group said that Edgenta Propel, which is being sued by Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd (AZSB), believes that this suit is without merit.
“Edgenta Propel having consulted its solicitors, Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners is of the view that this suit is totally without merit and will robustly defend the said claim.
The civil suit concerns Edgenta Propel’s involvement in the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit’s Putrajaya Line (MRT2) project for sub-contract work awarded in 2016, ” it clarified.
