KUALA LUMPUR: Stella Holdings Bhd, which received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia last week, continued to attract strong trading interest in early trade Monday.
The construction group rose 10%, or 11 sen to RM1.21 with 1.35 million shares done. The counter has been hovering around 80 sen for the past two weeks before surging last Friday. It has risen some 47% in the past two weeks.
Stella told Bursa Malaysia that it is not aware of any corporate development that would have caused the UMA.
In its reply, it said it is not aware of any rumour, report and explanation that may contribute to the group’s trading activity.
