M3 Technologies board rebuts shareholders’ claims

KUALA LUMPUR: M3 Technologies (Asia) Bhd has taken legal action against two shareholders who claimed they had at 10% of its paid-up capital and sought an extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The company announced to Bursa Malaysia the two, Lim Seng Boon and Voon Sze Lin, had on April 25, served a notice and sought for the EGM within 14 days.

“The company had verified its official records, and confirmed that Lim and Voon are not members of the company for at least 10% of its paid-up capital.

“In the same verification, the company had also discovered that Lim had misled the company over his shareholdings in the company by serving Section 138 notice to the company that contained false and/or misleading information, ” it said.
