KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Bina Darulaman Bhd rose over 6% in early trade Wednesday after securing a RM431mil contract.
The engineering and construction services company added 6.52%, or three sen to 49 sen, its highest in two weeks. The counter has risen some 31% so far this year.
Bina Darulaman has secured a RM431mil contract to upgrade the Pelubang water treatment plant in Kedah.
Bina Darulaman’s wholly-owned subsidiary, BDB Synergy Sdn Bhd received a letter of acceptance for the contract through Kedah Public Works Department (JKR).
The contract duration of the project is 156 weeks, commencing from the site possession date on May 20, 2021 until the completion date on May 15, 2024.
