Bina Darulaman rises as much as 11.96% after bagging RM431m contract
KUALA LUMPUR (May 12): Bina Darulaman Bhd rose as much as 5.5 sen or 11.96% to 51.5 sen this morning after securing a RM431 million contract to upgrade the Pelubang water treatment plant in Kedah.
At 9.51am, the counter had pared some gains at 50 sen, still up four sen or 8.7%, with 604,900 shares traded.
The company said in a bourse filing yesterday that its wholly-owned subsidiary BDB Synergy Sdn Bhd had secured the contract from the Kedah state government.
The three-year contract commences on May 20 and is expected to contribute positively to Bina Darulaman, it said.
