KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 5): Stella Holdings Bhd has secured a RM12.78 million contract to provide operations and maintenance services at the leachate treatment plant in Taman Beringin, Kepong.

The contract, awarded by the National Solid Waste Management Department, is for six years effective today, the construction engineering group said in a stock exchange filing.

Stella said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial year ending March 31, 2022 onwards.

Shares of Stella fell two sen or 2.03% to close at 96.5 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM64.65 million.
