Trading ideas: Kerjaya Prospek, SCIB, Ibraco, Top Glove

KUALA LUMPUR: Some stocks that may be seeing investor interest on Monday include Kerjaya Prospek, SCIB, Ibraco, Top Glove, Bintai Kinden, AT Systemization, D'Nonce Technology, LYC Healthcare, Vsolar, Meridian and Symphony Life, says JF Apex Research in a its daily highlights note.

According to the brokerage, Kerjaya Prospek has secured a contract worth RM126.1mil from UEM Sunrise Bhd to undertake building works for a proposed residential development project located in Bandar Putra Permai, Petaling.

SCIB has clinched an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract worth RM16.28mil for the development of a solid waste transfer station in Pontian, Johor.

Ibraco has proposed to undertake a private placement of up to 10% of its issued shares to raise up to RM23.33mil to part finance an existing property development project.

Top Glove has been cleared and is now allowed to resume exporting and selling gloves to the US after the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) lifted its ban.

Bintai Kinden has clarified that its unit Bintai Healthcare Sdn Bhd and NGT Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd are not appointed as Duopharma Biotech Bhd's distributor for the distribution of Sinopharm's COVILO Covid-19 vaccine.

AT Systematization has proposed to acquire 25.93% in component and packaging manufacturer D'Nonce Technology for RM64.96mil cash.

It plans to acquire the 81.2 million D'Nonce shares at 80 sen per share.

LYC Healthcare has formed a new subsidiary to be used as a vehicle to explore data centre related projects in Malaysia.

Vsolar which undertook share placements and rights issue to raise fresh capital for the renewable energy business, has spent RM15.17mil to buy minor stakes in two property development companies — Meridian and Symphony Life.

Meanwhile, JF Apex Research expects the FBM KLCI to remain in a sideways trading direction below 1,600 points.

This comes following last week's flattish trend, which ended with Friday's 2.92-points decline to 1,575.97.

THe US market was negative for a fifth straight day last Friday on the back of a higher producer price index in August and concerns over the economy amid the pandemic.

Earlier, European stocks also declined as investors worried over rising inflaiton and central bank action.
