KUALA LUMPUR: Ramssol Group Bhd, via subsidary Rams Solution Sdn Bhd, has partnered with artificial intelligence robotic process automation (AI-RPA) firm, Laiye for intelligent automation technology across Southeast Asia.

Through the partnership, Ramssol said it was tapping into the automation training business by providing RPA skills training to equip employees or jobseekers with a broad range of AI- RPA knowledge, concept and functionality.

The first training programme will first launch in Malaysia, followed by the rest of Southeast Asia.

Ramssol chief executive officer Cllement Tan said Laiye and RAMS were committed to the need for accelerated digital transformation and a more innovative and resilient workforce by introducing skills training with future-ready curricula.

"The first training programme will kick-off in the fourth quarter of 2021, and we are targeting to create 200 skilled professionals from the training," he said in a statement.

Tan said IR4.0 promoted human-automation integration and provided opportunities to re-invent jobs that give more focus on employee skills development.

"The partnership with Laiye as their authorised training partner across Southeast Asia is expected to positively impact our financial performance. At the same time, the partnership also strengthens our position as the leading Advanced HCM solution and technology specialist in the region", he added.

Laiye general manager for Southeast Asia Gary Saw said RPA tools were attracting companies looking for ways to automate workflows during Covid-19, which had disrupted employee engagement and collaboration.

Saw said the company wanted to help job-seekers and those pivoting to new careers stay relevant in an increasingly digital and remote workforce.

"We believe that digital workforce and intelligent automation will reach all walks of life as long as more human workers can be up-skilled with knowledge in RPA and AI," he said.

Laiye has presence across Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific, working with enterprise customers in the insurance, communications, electric power, finance, retail, healthcare industries to build end-to-end automation solutions.

Recently, Laiye's RPA project deployment assisted Lenovo IT Command Center achieve efficiency growth and employee satisfaction through autonomous RPA process development, operation and maintenance with training.
