KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended the day marginally lower as cautious sentiment weighed on buying patterns amid a lack of positive leads.
At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was nearly flat at 1,522.27 points, down 0.61 of a point. Trading volume stood at 3.15 billion units worth RM2.32bil.
There were 402 gainers against 506 losers while 440 counters were unchanged. Trading volume stood at 3.03 billion units worth RM2.09bil.
Dealers said the local bourse traded sideways today with selling interspersing with buying in heavyweight stocks.
