KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks that could see investor interest on Monday include Brem, IGB, Malakoff, AMMB, Alliance Bank, IOI Properties, Time dotcom, Press Metal, Sarawak Oil Palm, Padini, UOA Development, Hengyuan, Careplus, Pestech, KPJ Healthcare, SKP Resources, PetDag and Rubberex, according to JF Apex Research.
Brem's majority shareholders, Brem Properties Sdn Bhd and Tan Sri Khoo Chai Kaa, have proposed to privatise the company via a share capital reduction (SCR) which entails a selective capital reduction and a corresponding capital repayment of RM1.20 per share.
IGB declared an interim dividend of 10 sen per share as well as dividend-in-specie, to be distributed via 10.36 treasury shares for every 1,000 existing shares held.
Malakoff, AMMB, Alliance Bank, IOI Properties, Time dotcom, Press Metal, Sarawak Oil Palm chalked up better y-o-y quarterly earnings while Padini, UOA Development, Hengyuan, Careplus, Pestech, KPJ Healthcare, SKP Resources, PetDag, Rubberex recorded weaker y-o-y quarterly results.
Meanwhile, JF Apex expects the FBM KLCI to test the support of 1,500 points following a 2% plunge on Friday as a new Covid-19 variant was found in South Africa.
At 10am, the FBM KLCI was down 5.17 points to 1,507.05.
