KUALA LUMPUR: Investors reacted positively to Edara Bhd’s new RM41.3m system maintenance contract from Customs Department and its shares were up over 11%.
The IT firm rose 11.59%, or eight sen to 77 sen, its highest in about two weeks at 9.20am. The counter has appreciated over 76% so far this year.
Edaran has secured a contract worth RM41.34mil to undertake hardware and server software maintenance work for the Customs Department.
It said the maintenance work is for the Customs information system (SMK), sales and service tax system (MySST) and tourism tax system (My TTX), for a one-year period from Sept 1, 2021.
