
In a statement, the property developer said both appointments will be effective from Jan 1, 2022.
Upon his appointment, Lim, who is the son of non-executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong, will spearhead the group's technology division.
Lim brings with him over 30 years of international experience in the corporate industry and was most recently I-Berhad's chief technology officer where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology for the group.
This included, amongst others, strategies, developmental and digitalisation initiatives, as well as smart city solutions and innovation.
In his new role as I-Berhad’s executive director, Lim will spearhead the Group’s Data Centre Zone expansion which includes the setting-up of two new data centres of 100,000 sq ft each to meet the exponential demand for data centres due to the surging needs for cloud computing.
According to the statement, Lim started his career as an auditor with Messrs KPMG in 199 and has more than 10 years experience in sales and marketing.
His experience includes being a Cloud and Salesforce Technologies Consultant for 8 years and an Automation and CRM Specialist.
Meanwhile, Eu has returned to the board of I-Berhad, having previously retired on June 25, 2020.
Eu has been associated with Sumurwang and its Group of Companies as its chief executive with many years of experience including charting the path for Sumurwang’s manufacturing arm, firstly under Dreamland Holdings Bhd and its subsequent venture into the steel business and the acquisition of I-Berhad.
