Trading ideas: IHH Healthcare, IOI Corp, Aeon, Dutch Lady and Padini

KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks with recent corporate earnings results including IHH Healthcare, IOI Corp, Aeon, Dutch Lady and Padini could see increased investor attention on Thursday, said JF Apex Research.

IHH Healthcare, IOI Corp, Aeon, Dutch Lady, Padini, Sarawak Plantation, Maybulk, Hap Seng Plantations, SunCon, QES, Genting Plantations, Apex Healthcare achieved better y-o-y quarterly net earnings whilst UEM Sunrise, Malakoff, Matrix Concepts, Boilermech, Careplus, Notion Vtec, Hong Leong Industries, Carimin Petroleum, Uchi Tech, HSS Engineering, Amway, Econpile recorded weaker y-o-y net profit on their quarterly results.

Reservoir Link Energy has secured a contract from T7 Global Bhd unit Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd for the provision of perforation wash and cement services.

CTOS has finalised the issue price of its proposed primary placement exercise at RM1.58 per share to raise a total of RM173.8mil.

This comes after the group received approval from shareholders for its proposed placement to raise up to RM270 million — based on an indicative price of RM1.62 each — by placing out as many as 166.7 million new shares that represent up to 10% of its issued shares, to fund future acquisitions.

Meanwhile, JF Apex said the FBM KLCI could consolidate above the support of 1,570 points following yesterday's rebound.

The US market continued its decline overnight amid ongoing political tensions between Russia and Ukraine as sanctions are being imposed on Russia.

Similarly, European stocks tumbled as the Russia-Ukraine crisis overshadowed a strong set of quarterly results.
