KUALA LUMPUR: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd will adorn Bayu Sutera, a new development at its Bandar Sri Sendayan township in Negri Sembilan, with immersive decoration for a month in conjuction with the festive season.

The highlight of the celebration will be Metaraya Bersama Matrix on May 7-8, its "biggest Raya event at Bandar Sri Sendayan", the company said.

"What is a celebration without Raya decors to ramp up the festive atmosphere? 'The whole atmosphere has been amazingly decorated with its futuristic concept combined with some kampung elements which will light up Bayu Sutera and is complimented with traditional elements," Matrix chief marketing officer Lim Kok Yee said today.

"This year we want to bring a message to all: the world is changing but the traditions remain. Despite living in a tech-savvy world, the warmth, culture and traditions of Raya is still being preserved and practiced throughout all walks of life," Lim added.

This would be one of an "instagrammable" pit stop for those who were returning back to their ''kampung'' in Negri Sembilan after a two-year gap due to the Movement Control Order, Lim said.

"This will be a great opportunity for families to get-together as well as rekindle family moments right here at Bandar Sri Sendayan."

Lim said there would be ample of festive performances, activities and games during Metaraya Bersama Matrix.

They included Didi & Friends appearance, night petting zoo, P. Ramlee stilt walker, Puteri Gunung Ledang tumbler performance, traditional dance performance as well as mini games and photography session with ostrich and ostrich egg display.

'This Hari Raya is extremely notable for every one of us here. It is a blessing for many of us and a cautionary note too as we continue to fight and live with this Covid-19 virus,' said Lim.

With the current circumstances, there will be strict SOPs in place.
