KUALA LUMPUR (June 5): HIL Industries Bhd will unveil its first product on Carey Island, an intergenerational development called Carey Circles, sometime in the second half of this year. Located within the 1,938-acre Amverton Cove, the RM183.3 million development will consist of 141 one-storey stratified bungalows that will come in six designs. 

Buyers, who can be local or foreign, will be able to enjoy spacious surroundings with numerous services like nursing care, ambulatory services and others. If one lives with elderly parents and/or if the seniors are independent enough, they can go for a spot of golf, enjoying themselves in a relaxing environment far from the hustle and bustle of city living but still accessible to it if needed via major highways such as South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas). It is a 30 minutes' drive from Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and KLIA, and 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.

Prior to the launch of this product, Amverton Cove had already built a golf course, resort, condotel and water theme park. HIL Industries president and CEO Datuk Milton Ng explains why they are now developing this first product on Carey Island.

“We like to build first, so that when people come to see our place, they have confidence. So, we put in the infrastructure first. We have spent over RM100 million on the infrastructure; we built the hotel, the golf course (and) the water park.

“We try to create value first, before starting any development project. And with buyers being more discerning today, their needs are different. You can’t just have houses popping up. You need the amenities, the facilities in the area for people — a proper environment,” he says.
