On 26 August 2021, the Board announced its unaudited consolidated results for the financial period ended 30 June 2021, wherein the Board had declared the first single-tier interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2021 of RM0.28 per Maybank Share ("First Interim Dividend"). The Board had also determined that the dividend reinvestment plan will apply to the First Interim Dividend, in which an electable portion of RM0.14 per Maybank Share held can be elected to be reinvested into new Maybank Shares and the remaining portion of RM0.14 per Maybank Share held will be paid in cash.
Following the above, on behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 21st DRP has been fixed today at RM7.80 per new Maybank Share.
