On 23 April 2021, the Board had recommended a single-tier final dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2020 of RM0.02 per MBSB Share ("Final Dividend") and determined that the dividend reinvestment plan will apply to the Final Dividend, in which the entire Final Dividend can be elected to be reinvested into new MBSB Shares. The Final Dividend was approved by MBSB's shareholders at its annual general meeting held on 17 June 2021.
Following the above, on behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new MBSB Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRP has been fixed today at RM0.56 per new MBSB Share.
