The Bonus Issue will entail the issuance of up to 320,528,400 Bonus Shares, to be credited as fully paid-up on the basis of four (4) Bonus Shares for every five (5) existing ordinary shares in MCB held by the entitled shareholders at 5.00 p.m. on 9 January 2018 ("Entitlement Date"). The date of listing and quotation of the Bonus Shares is 10 January 2018, being the next market day following the Entitlement Date.
The Share Registrar of MCB will issue and despatch the notices of allotment of the Bonus Shares to all the entitled shareholders of MCB within four (4) market days after the date of listing and quotation of the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
