| The abovesaid payment of the final dividend of 5 sen per ordinary share of RM0.50 each comprising of 2.5 sen tax exempt and 2.5 sen per share less income tax at 26% for the year ended 31 January 2007 is in line with the approval by the shareholders at the Thirty First Annual General Meeting of the Company whereby a final dividend of 10 sen per share comprising of 5 sen tax exempt, and 5 sen per share less income tax at 26% for the year ended 31 January 2007 was approved on the premise that the Entitlement Date shall be fixed on 10 July 2007 prior to the proposed share split exercise of the Company involving the subdivision of one (1) ordinary share of RM1.00 each held in the Company into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.50 each ("Share Split") which took into effect on 16 July 2007 (i.e. Ex-Split). |
