Reference is made to the announcement on the Notice of Book Closure Date made on 23 December 2002.

On behalf of the Company, AmMerchant Bank Berhad wishes to clarify that pursuant to the provisions of the Deed Poll dated 5 February 1996, supplemental deed poll dated 12 April 1996, second supplemental deed poll dated 1 April 1997 and third supplemental deed poll dated 28 June 1999, warrant holders who do not exercise their subscription rights by 12.30 p.m. on 27 December 2002 which subsequently result in their shares not being transferred into their respective depositor's securities account prior to 12.30 p.m. on 13 January 2003 shall be entitled to the adjustment to the exercise price of the warrants only.
