We refer to the earlier announcements dated 2 August 2017, 4 August 2017, 11 August 2017, 30 August 2017, 25 September 2017, 3 October 2017, 13 October 2017 and 28 November 2017 ("Announcements"), as well as the circular to the shareholders of the Company dated 11 September 2017 ("Circular"). All abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as the words and expressions defined in the Announcements and the Circular.
The date of the listing and quotation of the CCMB Consolidated Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities shall be on 26 December 2017, being the next market date immediately after the Entitlement Date.
The Share Consolidation will be effected prior to the distribution of the Distribution Shares.
The share price of CCMB Shares will be adjusted for both the Share Consolidation and Distribution on the ex-date.
The actual number of CCMB Consolidated Shares to be issued is 167,697,680 based on the existing issued share capital of CCMB of 503,093,042 CCMB Shares. Fractional entitlements of the CCMB Consolidated Shares, if any, will be disregarded and dealt with in such a manner as the Board shall in its absolute discretion deem fit and expedient, and to be in the best interest of the Company.
The share registrar of CCMB will issue and despatch the notices of allotment of the CCMB Consolidated Shares to all the Entitled Shareholders within 4 market days after the date of the listing and quotation of the CCMB Consolidated Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
