| Shareholders of MHB should take note that every one (1) ordinary share of RM1.00 each in MHB as at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 27 December 2004 ("Entitlement Date") shall be subdivided into ten (10) new MHB Shares. Based on the issued and paid-up share capital of RM71,164,930 comprising 71,164,930 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in MHB and the outstanding 35,542,498 Warrants 2004/2014 in MHB (“Warrants”) as at 23 November 2004, the issued and paid-up share capital of MHB pursuant to the Share Split would be up to RM106,707,428 comprising up to 1,067,074,280 MHB Shares (assuming all the outstanding Warrants are fully exercised prior to the Entitlement Date). The actual number of new MHB Shares to be issued pursuant to the Share Split would be determined based on the issued and paid-up share capital of MHB as at the Entitlement Date. In accordance with the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities"), the trading of the ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in MHB on the Main Board of Bursa Securities will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 December 2004, being three (3) clear market days prior to the Entitlement Date until the new MHB Shares are listed and quoted on the Main Board of Bursa Securities to facilitate the Share Split. Hence, the last day for trading of the ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in MHB on the Main Board of Bursa Securities prior to the Share Split shall be on Monday, 20 December 2004.
