| This announcement is made on behalf of YTL Corp. The number of Offer Shares to be offered to the Entitled Shareholders of YTL Corp pursuant to the ROS will be determined based on the issued and paid-up share capital of YTL Corp as at the entitlement date for the ROS ("Entitlement Date"). 1999/2009 warrant holders of YTL Corp who wish to qualify for the ROS are reminded to lodge with the Share Registrar, YTL Corporation Berhad of 11th Floor, Yeoh Tiong Lay Plaza, 55 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, their subscription forms and subscription monies for subscription of new YTL Corp Shares by 5.00 pm on 14 December 2007. Entitled Shareholders shall exclude persons or corporations or entities who as stated in the Record of Depositors of YTL Corp as at 5.00 p.m. on 14 December 2007: (i) hold YTL Corp Shares directly or indirectly through Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc; or (ii) hold such YTL Corp Shares as nominee(s) directly or indirectly for Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc; or (iii) have registered address in any other jurisdictions outside Malaysia. For avoidance of doubt, in relation to (iii) above, shareholders who have provided YTL Corp or Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd, as the case may be, with a registered address or a service address in Malaysia for the service of notices or of documents at least 5 market days prior to the Entitlement Date or who collect the Prospectus and accompanying documents from the Share Registrar at 11th Floor, Yeoh Tiong Lay Plaza, 55, Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, shall be entitled to the ROS. |
