| The Board of BIMB Holdings Berhad ("BHB or "The Company") is recommending a Final Single Tier Dividend of 7.25% for the financial year ended 31 December 2011 compared to a final dividend of 1.6% less 25% tax for the 18 months financial period ended 31 December 2010. The variation in a final dividend between the current financial year and previous financial period was due to the followings:- 1) For the financial year ended 31 December 2011, the Company has recorded a profit before zakat and tax of RM253 million compared to RM37.2 million for the 18 months financial period ended 31 December 2010. 2) Net profit for the financial year ended 31 December 2011 stood at RM228 million compared to RM30.2 million for the 18 months financial period ended 31 December 2010. This announcement is dated 13 April 2012. |
