On 24 November 2016, the Board of Directors of Tropicana Corporation Berhad (TCB)(Board) had declared an interim single tier dividend of 2.5% per ordinary share of RM1.00 each in TCB (TCB Share) for the financial year ended 31 December 2016 (Interim Dividend). The Board had also determined that the Dividend Reinvestment Scheme (DRS) will apply to the entire Interim Dividend which will provide the shareholders of TCB with the option to reinvest the Interim Dividend into new TCB Shares. On behalf of the Board, TA Securities Holdings Berhad had on 18 January 2017 announced that the issue price for the new TCB Shares to be issued pursuant to the implementation of the DRS in respect of the Interim Dividend has been fixed at RM1.00 per TCB Share.
