| Based on the issued and paid-up share capital of QL as at 30 September 2009 of RM165,000,000 comprising 330,000,000 QL Shares and assuming all the treasury shares in QL are resold at the cost of acquisition, on or prior to the Entitlement Date (as define herein) for the Bonus Issue, the Bonus Issue will now entail the issuance of up to 66,000,000 Bonus Shares, credited as fully paid-up, on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every five (5) existing QL Shares held as at 5:00p.m. on 28 January 2010 (“Entitlement Date”). The actual number of Bonus Shares to be issued would depend on the issued and paid-up share capital of QL after taking into consideration the treasury shares held by QL as at the Entitlement Date. The date of listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares to be issued on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will be at 9:00a.m. on 29 January 2010, being the market day immediately following the Entitlement Date. Bina Management (M) Sdn Bhd, the Registrar of QL, will issue and despatch the Notice of Allotment to all entitled shareholders by 4 February 2010. This announcement is dated 8 January 2010. |
