| The Rights Shares together with the free detachable Rights Warrants at an issue price of RM1.00 per Rights Share (of which the first call of RM0.80 is payable in cash on application and the second call of RM0.20 is capitalised from the Company's share premium account and retained profit account) shall be alloted to the existing shareholders of Rapid on the basis of two (2) Rights Shares together with one (1) Warrant for every two (2) existing ordinary shares of RM1.00 each held in the Company on the Entitlement Date. The Rights Warrants will be issued free to entitled shareholders who subscribe for the Rights Shares. The entitled shareholders can fully or partially renounce their entitlements for the Rights Shares together with the free detachable Rights Warrants. However, the Rights Shares and the free detachable Rights Warrants cannot be renounced separately. This announcement is dated 28 February 2007. |
