| Shareholders should take note that their ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in RCE as at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 28 May 2004 ("Entitlement Date") shall be subdivided into ten (10) ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in RCE. For illustrative purposes, a shareholder holding 100 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in RCE on the Entitlement Date shall have his/her shareholding subdivided into 1,000 ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in RCE. The Share Split shall involve the crediting of 401,512,500 ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in RCE. In accordance with the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Malaysia"), the trading of the ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in RCE on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Monday, 24 May 2004, being three (3) clear market days prior to the Entitlement Date, to facilitate the Share Split. Hence, the last day for trading of the ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in RCE on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia shall be Friday, 21 May 2004. This announcement is dated 10 May 2004. |
