| During the current year quarter, based on the recommendation of the Board of Directors, a final dividend of 5 sen per ordinary share less 28% taxation amounting to RM47,825,089 in respect of the financial year ended 31 January 2005 was declared. The final dividend is subject to shareholders' approval at the Annual General Meeting that will be held on 27 July 2005. If it is approved, the dividend will be paid on 22 August 2005. In the preceding year's corresponding quarter, a final dividend of 2.5 sen per ordinary share less 28% taxation amounting to RM23,912,545 in respect of the financial year ended 31 January 2004 was declared. The final dividend was approved at the Annual General Meeting on 12 July 2004 and was paid on 20 August 2004. |
