| This announcement supersedes the announcement on "Quarterly Report on Consolidated Results" made by the Company on 30th May 2005. The amended financial results was due to additional tax liabilities imposed by Inland Revenue Board Malaysia on 6 July 2005 as a result of the revised tax computations made by Inland Revenue Board on the Company's subsidiaries in respect of the taxation for prior years of assessment from YA 1995 to YA 1999. In accordance with the Accounting Standards on subsequent events, these additional tax liabilities are to be reflected in the financial statements of the financial year ended 31 March 2005. The Company was only notified of the additional tax liabilities in July 2005. |
