| (1) The acquisition of the subsidiary was only completed on 31st January 2003, being the last day of the financial year. As such, the net profit after tax for the financial year ended 31st January 2003 for Perusahaan Jaya Plastik (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, amounting to RM7,223,418 is not reflected above. Accordingly, no post-acquisition results of the said subsidiary company acquired have been consolidated on the financial statements of the Group for the year. No comparative data was presented as this is the first quarterly report presented by the Company. (2) As the financial statements of the Group for the current quarter ended 31 January 2003 are drawn up for the first time, no comparative figures are presented. (3) The actual amount for items 2 to 4 is RM500.00. |
