| Note for No. 5 The earnings per share are calculated based on weighted average number of ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in issue of 1,398,457,447 shares for the current financial year. Note for No. 6 i) An Interim Dividend of 12% less 25% tax (previous corresponding period: 11% less 26% tax) per ordinary share of RM0.10 each in respect of the financial year ended 30th June 2009 has been paid on 26th June 2009. ii) The Board of Directors recommends a Final Dividend of 24% less 25% tax (preceding year: 20% less 26% tax) per ordinary share of RM0.10 each in respect of the financial year ended 30th June 2009 for approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The total dividend declared for the financial year ended 30th June 2009 is 36% less 25% tax per ordinary share of RM0.10 each, resulting in a dividend payout ratio of 40% which is in line with the Company's dividend policy of dividend payout ratio of 40% - 60% of annual profits attributable to shareholders. |
