| Note for No. 5 i) The earnings per share are calculated based on weighted average number of ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in issue of 1,395,839,858 shares for the current financial quarter. The Board of Directors has on 19 August 2009 and 7 October 2009 respectively announced i) a Final Cash Dividend of 24% per ordinary share of RM0.10 each less 25% tax in respect of the financial year ended 30 June 2009; and ii) Special single tier exempt share dividend of one (1) treasury share for every fifty (50) existing ordinary shares of RM0.10 each held which are subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 19 November 2009. If approved, the entitlement to the final cash dividend and share dividend will be determined based on shareholders registered in the record of depositors as at 9 December 2009 and the date of payment and crediting respectively will be on 23 December 2009. |
