Second Interim Single Tier Dividend of 1.0 sen per ordinary share

 (Instead of Final Single Tier Dividend of 1 sen per ordinary share)

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 16 Apr 2020 (Remain Unchanged)
2)  The last date of lodgment : 17 Apr 2020 (Remain Unchanged)
3)  Date Payable : 8 May 2020 (Remain Unchanged)

Remarks: 

This amended announcement is to affirm that the Second Interim Dividend would supersede the proposed Final Dividend.  In order to facilitate a timely dividend payment to its shareholders, WEC had reclassified the proposed dividend from proposed Final Dividend to Second Interim Dividend. All details in connection with the dividend (quantum together with the payment and entitlement dates) shall remain the same. The reclassification of dividend to Second Interim Dividend is to provide certainty as to the payment date and not require approval of shareholders at annual general meeting.

It is noted that WEC first announced the proposed Final Dividend on 24/02/2020. This was followed by a general announcement on 01/04/2020 whereupon WEC informed of the reclassification of the said proposed Final Dividend to Second Interim Dividend (ref no. GA1-31032020-00027) together with an announcement on the details of entitlement in connection to the Second Interim Dividend (ref no. ENT-31032020-00005).
