The Board of Directors of Innoprise Plantations Berhad ("IPB") is pleased to announce as follows:

1.  Due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic and the ensuing enforcement of the various movement control order ("MCO") with effect from 18 March 2020 until 9 June 2020 nationwide; and

2.  The initiatives introduced by the Registrar of Companies ("ROC") in support of Government's initiatives to curb the spread of the Covid-19 by granting:-

(a) an Extension of Time ("EOT") to companies with financial year end between 1 September 2019 to 31 December 2019 automatically for a period of 90 days from the last due date in accordance with Section 259(2) of the Companies Act, 2016 ("the Act") to circulate and lodge their Audited Financial Statements.

(b) an EOT to companies affected by MCO from holding an Annual General Meeting ("AGM") for a period of time up to 90 days from the due date for convening of AGM, in accordance with Section 340(4) of the Act.

The ROC pursuant to Section 340(4) of the Act, has on 29 May 2020 granted an EOT to IPB to hold its forthcoming 26th AGM on or before 28 September 2020.
