Reference is made to the announcement made by the Company on February 28, 2020 in relation to submission to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia ("SSM") of an application for strike off of Ria Bahagia Sdn. Bhd. (444868-T) (“RBSB” or “the subsidiary”), a dormant subsidiary of the Company from the Register of SSM.
Farlim wishes to announce that RBSB has been struck off from the Register of SSM following publication in the Gazette by SSM pursuant to Section 551(3) of the Companies Act 2016 on July 15, 2020 which appears in the website of SSM on October 2, 2020.
The striking-off of RBSB does not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending December 31, 2020.
