The Board of Directors of DFCITY ("Board") wishes to announce that BDO PLT (“BDO”) had on 23 November 2020 given a notice in writing to the Board of Directors of their resignation as Auditors of the Company.

Pursuant to Section 281(2) of the Companies Act 2016, the resignation as Auditors of the Company shall be effective with immediate effect. 

The resignation of BDO is on voluntary basis due to low recovery in audit fees.

Save for the above, the Board of Directors wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Company has identified Ecovis Malaysia PLT as the replacement Auditors. However, their appointment would only be finalised upon receiving their letter of consent to act as Auditors of the Company.

Further announcement on the proposed change of Auditors will be made by the Company in due course once the appointment of the replacement Auditors is finalised by the Board of Directors.
