We refer to the announcements dated 31 May 2016, 1 June 2016, 30 June 2016, 29 July 2016, 30 August 2016, 30 September 2016, 31 October 2016, 30 November 2016, 30 December 2016, 8 February 2017, 28 February 2017 and 31 March 2017 made pursuant to Paragraph 9.19A of the MMLR in relation to the defaults in payment by its subsidiaries, Java Industries Sdn Bhd (“JISB”) and Java Timber Sdn Bhd (“JTSB”) in respect of the term loan and overdraft facilities (“Defaults in Payment”) (“Earlier Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Earlier Announcements.

The Board of Directors of the Company hereby announce that the status of the Defaults in Payments as at the date of this announcement remains the same and the Company is still working towards disposing some of its assets in order to generate funds for the settlement of said facilities.
