Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 20 June 2023 and 31 July 2023 together with the Company’s circular to shareholders dated 14 July 2023 in relation to the Proposed Disposal Mandate.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Kekal Shipping Pte Ltd had on 30 August 2023 entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with Tokyo Century Corporation for the disposal of Alam Kekal, a bulk carrier, for a cash consideration of JPY4,430,000,000 (equivalent to approximately RM140.062 million).
