Eastern & Oriental Berhad (“E&O”) wishes to announce that the following indirect subsidiaries of E&O (“the Companies”), had each held their Extraordinary General Meeting on 19 March 2024, at which it was resolved that the Companies be wound-up voluntarily by the members and that Mr Wong Heng Boon be appointed as Liquidator of the respective Companies:
The Companies are currently dormant/inactive and/or have no intention to carry on business or operations in the future. The voluntary winding-up of the Companies will not have a material effect on the earnings and net assets of the E&O Group for the financial year ended 31 March 2024. None of the directors or major shareholders or persons connected to directors or major shareholders of E&O has any interest, direct or indirect, in the members’ voluntary winding-up. |
