KUALA LUMPUR: Technology and semiconductor-related stocks are among the top gainers on Bursa Malaysia on Thursday after U.S. chipmaker Nvidia's outlook beat market expectations.
Malaysian Pacific Industries
, the top gainer on Bursa Malaysia, surged RM2.60 to RM28.78. Vitrox Corp rose 43 sen to RM7.64, Pentamaster gained 19 sen to RM4.54 and Frontken Corp added 18 sen to RM3.74.
Dufu Technology gained 13 sen to RM1.87 and Unisem climbed six sen to RM3.28.
Despite the strong showing by technology-related stocks, Bursa Malaysia ended the day lower.
