Australian airport project expected to fuel PGF’s earnings

PETALING JAYA: PGF Capital Bhd’s seasonally weaker fourth quarter performance does not blight the optimistic outlook analysts have for the company.

They believe earnings will be underpinned by the robust demand for glass wool insulation in the Australian housing market and the development of the automotive hub in Tanjung Malim, Perak.

TA Research noted that PGF’s participation in the new Western Sydney International Airport project will fuel the company’s earnings growth for the financial year 2025 (FY25) and FY26.

“The company stands a good chance of supplying insulation products for the upcoming Penang LRT project. PGF supplied its glass wool products to the Kajang MRT and Singapore MRT projects for roof insulation and noise barrier usage,” the research firm stated in a report on PGF.
