The Board of Directors of Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad (In Liquidation) (“SDHB”) wishes to announce that an indirect subsidiary of SDHB, SDMAX Sdn. Bhd. (“SDMAX”), had been served with a winding up petition by Kawalan Keselamatan Prestasi Mewah Sdn Bhd. SDMAX is not a major subsidiary. Based on the cause papers filed, the winding up petition is based on a judgment dated 22 August 2022 for the sum of RM420,414.29 with costs and interest. On 20 July 2023, the Petitioner through its lawyers served a statutory notice under Section 466 of the Companies Act 2016 on SDMAX. On 9 November 2023, the winding up petition was served on SDMAX. The hearing is fixed for 3 May 2024. SDHB will make further announcements as and when there are material developments on the matter. This announcement is dated 25 March 2024. |
