Recently acquired SERBA at the dip, around RM1.60. Seems undervalued when: Orderbook is RM18bil while market cap is only RM5bil, PE less than 10, all time high revenue & profit when prices doesn't reflect that now. Dividend yield about 3% is nice. With MCO 2.0, more companies will face slowing revenue & profit. SERBA should remain steady due to existing RM18bil orderbook. Oil price doesn't affect SERBA much either.

According to analyst reports, rights issue may be the next fund raising option, should the coronavirus persist. Whether to buy now or wait later, ultimately, it depends on our investing style, whether long-term or short-term. Some people can hold 3 years, hence they buy now and sell in 2024. Some want to buy shares and sell for profit next week. No right or wrong actually.

ICAP manager does fund management, of course. ICAP's investing style is very defensive. It doesn't buy and sell frequently every month. Not everyone's cup of tea.

ICAP really hit my TP of 10% within a year. ICAP sometimes can be short-term play too.

Hi, cheng.
Glad to see you on board, for your stocks are quite reliable. I bought a bit too fast last week at RM6.33 though. The reason I bought was I thought that Mr Market was too pessimistic on glove stocks recently & a rebound should come. PE is also reasonable. What are your reasons for buying?

Daniel Tan Tiak Kuen,
From this year's AGM, the investment in Parkson is still at paper loss (RM0.28 cost) while investment in Bstead (RM0.55 cost) is actually at a gain, due to current paper loss offset by gains from earlier transactions, eg. sales of Bstead, bonus issues and free Pharma shares.

L T2cap,
Yes, I'm aware of CDAM owning Krono in April 2020. But CDAM and iCapital.biz Bhd are separate companies, despite iCapital.biz Bhd's portfolio being managed by CDAM. iCapital.biz didnt have Krono as of 31 May 2020, as per its Annual Report.

Krono is not as substantial as its top 5 holdings, but not really peanut, hahaha, because HPMT & Oceancash are the real "peanuts".

G L ,
The stock market is already thinking of 2022 and beyond. JPM believes all super normal profits next year have been priced in with share price surging from RM5 to RM29. The market is worried that ASP will fall sooner than expected when Covid 19 cases start reducing. So, it is reacting ahead of this potential event of reducing Covid 19 cases.

But I think Mr. Market is thinking too far ahead and maybe too pessimistic. In 2021, TG will be able to churn out a few more record-breaking QR while giving out generous dividends, starting from now. Historical PE now is about 15, which will eventually become single digit if it earns 1 bil every quarter. Quoting MIDF, " TG is trading at a PER of 6.5x FY21E earnings and 15.6x FY22F earnings, which are much lower than its 10-year historical mean of 25.5x PER."

I believe in reversion to mean and TG should return to 25x PE in future. In the meantime, just enjoy the dividends.

Very interesting to know that icapital has invested a substantial amount in Krono. It is probably its 6th or 7th largest investment in its portfolio, after SAM, Bstead, Parkson, APM, Suria.

Thanks for the in-depth explanation, cheng. Very glad to learn about new companies from you since I'm not very familiar with DKSH.
