| Working experience and occupation | Dr. Wan Ahmad Rudirman Wan Razak ("Dr. Wan") has over 25 years of extensive leadership experience in corporate advisory, strategic investments, and senior management roles across public listed companies (PLCs), government-linked companies (GLCs), and regulatory bodies.
He served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) from March 2022 until March 2025, where he provided strategic leadership in regulating and developing the accounting profession in Malaysia under the Accountants Act 1967.
Prior to that, he was the President/Group Chief Executive Officer of Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd, the strategic investment arm of the State Government of Terengganu, where he led group-wide restructuring and oversaw investments across various sectors including natural resources, real estate, oil & gas support services, and healthcare.
His previous roles include Executive Director of Boardroom Graduates Sdn Bhd, Group Deputy CEO and Director of Selia Ekuiti Sdn Bhd, Acting Chief Operating Officer of KUB Malaysia Berhad, and Head of Corporate Strategy at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad. He began his career in corporate advisory with CIMB Group.
He has served on the boards of numerous companies such as Golden Pharos Berhad, A&W Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Summit Petroleum (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and Rangkaian Hotel Seri Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Dr. Wan was also a Council Member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA).
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), an MBA, and professional qualifications including CPA (MICPA), Fellow CPA (Australia), Chartered Accountant (MIA), and ASEAN CPA. |
